KLS Gogte College of Commerce, Belagavi has started M.Com course in the year 2008. M.Com Course is affiliated to Rani Channamma University, Belagavi. M.Com is a promising and useful PG Course for students who have completed B.Com. This helps in studying advance aspects of Accounting, Marketing and Financial Management etc. M.Com has opportunity to be a lecturer in a college write NET/Slet or can take up careers in banking, finance, management or administrative positions.
Karnatak Law Society has taken initiative in starting M.Com Course, for which there is an overwhelming response. M.Com from our College makes a difference in the students.
Our students are trained not only in academics but also in extra-curricular. Our results in university exams are commendable. In some semesters it is full 100% or nearing to 100%. Our college has bagged 10 University Ranks in 10 years.
M.Com students of final semester have to prepare a project report in partial fulfillment of M.Com requirement. This helps in synchronizing their theoretical knowledge with practical learning.
It is heartening to inform that the students who have passed M.Com from our college are placed as lecturers in our own college and in other colleges. Some of them are picked up as probationary officers in public sector banks and in the industries.

A candidate who has successfully completed Bachelor’s Degree programme in Commerce from Rani Channamma University, Belagavi or of any other recognized university shall be eligible for admission for Post Graduate Programme in Commerce provided the candidate also satisfies the conditions like the minimum percentage of marks and other eligibility conditions as prescribed by the University from time to time.
Admissions shall be as per the Govt. of Karnataka Reservation Policy and directions issued in this from time to time.
Two consecutive academic years, each academic year comprising two semesters. Each semester comprises of 16 weeks with a minimum of 90 days.

There are 20 marks per subject for each semester.
1st Internal test carries 30 Marks and 2nd Internal Test carries 80 Marks, total of which is reduced to 14 Marks and class room assignment consist of 3 marks Each.
Attendance: Students with 75% and above attendance for each subject are eligible to get 3 Marks each.
The total of which comes to 20 Marks Internal Assessments and 80 Marks University Assessments
Students have to score 40% Minimum to pass in each subject
